With Rebel Wilson (“Pitch Perfect”) hosting and taking the stage by storm, there was definitely something for viewers to watch during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. With a room full of megastars (Jamie Foxx, Emma Watson, Bradley Cooper, and Brad Pitt) and a crowd-pleasing performance by songstress Selena Gomez, there was a lot of star-studded action during this award ceremony. After all the voting was counted and done with, let’s see which geeky faves took home the Golden Popcorn at this year’s big show!
Best Fight: “Marvel’s Avengers”

It was definitely cool to see Joss Whedon (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”) getting his Golden Popcorn award. If you were a fan of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” then you know he deserved that huge round of applause.
Best Villain: Tom Hiddleston as Loki

Tom Hiddleston was definitely the best villain in two movies (“Thor” and “Avengers”). During his thank-you speech, Tom Hiddleston joked about being Hulk-smashed by Mark Ruffalo and having to wear that uncomfortable hat.

A great night for writer/director Joss Whedon! 2015 will even be bigger as Whedon promises to bring audiences the sequel, “Avengers 2!”
Did the person you voted for win at the MTV Movie Awards? While “Marvel’s The Avengers” was the big winner of the night, I was also rooting for Alexandra Daddario (“Texas Chainsaw 3D”) to win for Best Scared-As-S**t Performance. Can’t wait to see who gets nominated, who wins, and the surprises during next year’s MTV Movie Awards.
