Viewers are just a few weeks away from the impending return of “Game of Thrones.” For the past two seasons, the series has delivered on the sex, blood, and medieval drama. In case you missed it, we had the season three trailer for your viewing pleasure. The trailer promises “death is coming for everyone and everything” in the upcoming season. Now let’s see what else this season might have to offer audiences.

Spoilers Ahead

1. Dragons!

They were just babies when we left them at the House of the Undying. Towards the end of the season two finale, the dragons figured out how to breathe fire. Now in the season three trailer, take a peek and you’ll see one of those dragons all grown up. The fire-breathing dragon is flying across the ocean and circles around in mid-air. Just what kind of damage are these three going to do?

2. She Has an Army!
Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) started off penniless and her own people were starving. In the trailer, viewers see glimpses of the large army Daenerys has built. Daenerys is even wearing battle armor, which means she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty. Armed and dangerous, she’s definitely not to be messed with.

3. Tyrion’s Revenge!

One of my favorite episodes from season two is “Blackwater.” This was Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) at his finest. With the best line ever, Tyrion proclaims, “Those are brave men knocking at our door. Let’s go kill them!” After King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) choked under pressure, Tyrion practically saved the day until his face was slashed by a traitor. Now, Tyrion has been demoted and his face is in pretty bad shape. If you know Tyrion, he’s not going to sit down and let his conniving family take his concubine away. This guy wants revenge for what happened to him.

4. Music!

I can’t wait to hear what the composer, Ramin Djawadi, has in store. When I hear the opening theme and gaze at the animated sequence, I get pumped to watch this show. I hope I’m not the only one. Just the song, “Bones,” by MS MR gives me chills when I’m watching the season three trailer. On the plus side, indie band Hold Steady has a song recorded for the series too.

5. Zombies!

During season one’s episode, “The Pointy End,” I was cheering, “It’s a zombie!” when Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was attacked by an undead ranger. There are zombies in this medieval period piece. Ask yourselves, what could be better? And then, in those last minute scenes of “Valar Morghulis,” the White Walkers show up and one of them is riding an undead horse. Is anyone going to believe Sam (John Bradley) actually saw the White Walkers in the winter storm?

With the season premiere set to arrive on March 31, watch “Game of Thrones” Sundays at 9pm on HBO.
